Jan 2, 2026 Update

The renovation is progressing - work continues on interior construction but a little slower due to the holidays and cold weather. .

First light party for the new telescope is being planned. Stay tuned!!

Planetarium Shows - Jan 16, 17 and 18

Astronomy: 3000 years of Stargazing - Take a tour of the major astronomical milestones of the last 3,000 years and explore the discoveries made possible by the use of technology, from the cosmological models of antiquity, through the Ptolemaic system and the epicycles, to the contributions of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Newton and Herschel, amongst others.

An additional short movie on Winter stargazing is included.

Jan 16 and 17

2 shows each night- Friday and Saturday

7:00 pm and 8:00 pm

Jan 18 Matinee 2:00pm

If the weather is good we will have telescopes set up after the shows for star gazing.
